God – Our Refuge
Compiled by Thomas
Dohling.
Deu 33:27 The eternal God is your dwelling-place, Underneath are the
everlasting arms.
Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most
High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:14 "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will
deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
Psa 91:15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with
him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Psa 91:16 I will satisfy him with long life, And show him my salvation."
Psa 36:7 How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of
men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
Psa 46:1 God is
our refuge and strength, A very present help in
trouble.
Psa 46:7, 11
Yahweh of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Psa 57:1 Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, For my soul takes
refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, Until disaster has passed.
Psa 57:2 I cry out
to God Most High, To God who accomplishes my requests for me.
Psa 62:8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart
before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psa 73:28 But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, That I may tell of
all your works.
Heb 6:17 In this
way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise
the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
Heb 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for
God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to
take hold of the hope set before us.
Heb 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure
and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
Heb 6:20 where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having
become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
